[THE INVESTOR] Innocean Worldwide Inc., one of South Korea‘s leading advertising agencies, said on Sept. 2 that it is steadily securing major foreign clients that can help it become a global player going forward.

The company said its U.S. affiliate David & Goliath (D&G) won a contract from Chicken of the Sea, a leading seafood processed food manufacturer in the North American country first established in 1914.

The deal, which also involves Canvas Worldwide, a company set up by Innocean in 2015, calls for D&G to make commercials while its partner comes up with the advertising strategy.

Besides the latest deal, Innocean’s U.S. operations count Universal Studios, HBO and Jack in the Box as its advertisers. The company‘s Mexico arm IWM, in addition, has been chosen as the marketing partner for the global kitchen cookware manufacturer Tefal.

“Innocean’s creativity and market solutions are helping the company increase its footprint across the board, not only in South Korea but in foreign markets, and is laying the foundation for further growth down the line,” a corporate spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, an advertisement video for South Korea‘s No. 1 carmaker, Hyundai Motor Co., made by Innocean has more than 200 million views on YouTube.

The video was produced by Innocean, marking the 20th anniversary of the South Korean automaker’s entry into the Indian market.
