[THE INVESTOR] MAN Trucks & Bus Korea will voluntarily recall about 2,000 dump trucks to repair faulty parts, the Transport Ministry said on Sept. 3.
It said the German company’s recall plan will include a total of 1,191 trucks encompassing 25 models to be checked by mechanics.
MAN said it has found that cooling water could leak into the engine in the affected models.
Such a problem could result in malfunctioning of the engine heads in the models, the ministry said in a statement.
