[THE INVESTOR] SK Telecom’s corporate value will rise sharply in 2019, said Hana Financial Investment on Sept. 11.
The mobile phone division’s average revenue per user is likely to swing upward in the first quarter next year. The firm will continue carrying out merger and acquisition deals. As it is seeking to float e-commerce platform 11Street and securities provider CAPS, the telecom giant probably will focus on earnings gearing up for IPOs. Although operating profit will inevitably decline this year, the bottom line will rise dramatically from next year, said analyst Kim Hong-sik.
In addition to dividends and value of subsidiaries, it will also rally from introduction of 5G technology. It is very likely to prove its growing value from M&As, the analyst added.
