[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai Motor said on Oct. 19 it will launch its i30 N Line model in the domestic market next week as part of its diversification strategy.
The i30 N Line, mated with a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine, is not a Hyundai high-performance oriented N brand, but it adopts basic options, such as Michelin PS4 tires, rear bumper and dual mufflers designed for the N lineup models, the company said in a statement.
Hyundai said it plans to provide more N Line models to better meet the diverse demands of customers.
Specific details on the i30 N Line model will be available Wednesday when the vehicle is set to be released, the statement said.
Hyundai has recently launched the high-performance Veloster N model in the domestic market, with more N models expected to be added in the carmaker‘s lineup.
