Ant Financial’s Eric Jing to speak at Money 20/20 China

[THE INVESTOR] Ant Financial CEO and Executive Chairman Eric Jing will speak at the first Chinese edition of Money 20/20, the world’s largest fintech and payment conference, to be held at Hangzhou International Expo Center on Nov. 14-16. 

“Eric is recognized for driving innovation across the Ant Financial brand, delivering innovative technologies that aim to provide inclusive financial services to everyone across the world,” said Tracey Davies, president of Money20/20. “His session at Money 20/20 China will offer an unbeatable opportunity to gain insights into a technology company that is working together with its partners to support the future financial needs of society.”

Jing, who has been the CEO of Alibaba’s payment affiliate since October 2016 and its executive chairman since April 2018 has bolstered its partnership with leading payment providers across the world. Ant Financial partners with Paytm in India, KakaoPay in Korea, Ascend Money in Thailand, Mynt in the Philippines and Emtek in Indonesia, among others. 




He joins over 275 notable fintech leaders at the three-day event that is comprised of in-depth sessions, startup pitches and expo hall packed with global brands. The lineup includes ZhongAn CEO Jeff Chen, Yirendai CEO Yihan Fang, Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski, WorldFirst co-founder and CEO Jonathan Quin, CEO, Saxo Bank co-founder and CEO Kim Fournais and Deniz Guven, global head of group digital banking at Standard Chartered Bank, among others. 

The conference, which explores various themes shaping the future of finance, will tackle key topics ranging from digital transformation in banking, AI leaders from the East and West, China and global regulatory landscape, IPOs and internationalization and blockchain at scale. 

“These are the issues the fintech world is talking about now and we want to ensure that we provide a relevant platform that allows financial leaders and entrepreneurs to collaborate and drive their business forward,” said Pat Patel, global content director at Money 20/20. 

Founded in 2011, Money20/20 is operated by Ascential, a global business-to-business information company. Since its initiation in the US, it has grown to be one of the leading global events that enables the most innovative people in payments, fintech and the broader financial services industry to connect. 

Billed for its high-impact networking, this year, Money 20/20’s APAC chapter debuted in Sinagpore in March. In June, its European edition was launched in Amsterdam, followed by the US edition in Las Vegas from Oct. 21-24.
