[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai Mobis is unlikely to rebound soon, said Hanwha Investment and Securities on Nov. 23 lowering the target price to 195,000 won (US$172.57) from 240,000 won while maintaining a “hold” recommendation.

Investor sentiment may improve when the stability of its after-sales service is highlighted, but growing uncertainties in auto industry loom large, said analyst Ryu Yeon-hwa.

It will continue to fail to meet earnings expectations in the fourth quarter. Revenue in the period will rise 6 percent on-year to 9.3 trillion won and operating profit by 38 percent to 440 billion won, but this is only because of the very low baseline from last year and not based on recovery. The figures are 23 percent lower than market consensus, pointed out the analyst.
