[THE INVESTOR] Korean stocks ended lower on Dec. 6 as investors remain skeptical about the US-China trade deal over the next three months. The won fell against the dollar.

The benchmark KOSPI fell 32.62 points, or 1.55 percent, to 2.068.69. Trading volume was moderate at 528.19 million shares worth 5.44 trillion won (US$4.90 billion), with losers outnumbering gainers 696 to 154.

Foreigners offloaded a net 387 billion won worth of stocks. But institutions and individuals bought a combined 375 billion won stocks, keeping the KOSPI from falling further.

The local currency traded at 1,120.30 won against the US dollar, down 6.20 won from the previous session’s close.
