LG Electronics announced on Feb. 12 the Korean release of its latest mid-range smartphone, Q9 One, which comes with smart functions at a reasonable price.

The Korean electronics maker said Q9 One runs on Android One, the “pure” version of the Android operating system that Google shares with device makers.

It features a 6.1-inch full-vision display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, is 7.9 millimeter thick and weighs 159 grams.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

It has a 16MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP selfie snapper, as well as a fingerprint sensor.

“We will expand consumer choices by introducing products with various smart functions at reasonable prices,” Ahn Byung-deok, director of mobile marketing at LG said in a release.

The device is set to be sold domestically for 599,500 won (US$532) and will be only available via subscription with LG Uplus, LG said.
