Hyundai Elevator to increase stake in Hyundai Asan by W35.7b
[DISCLOSURE] Hyundai Elevator (017800) announced on Feb. 27 that it has decided to participate in Hyundai Asan’s capital raise and acquire additional 7,133,807 shares at 35.67 billion won (US$31.86 billion) “to prevent dilution of stake and stock value and to participate in businesses in North Korea through Hyundai Asan.”
It will own 70.16 percent stake in the subsidiary after the acquisition.
