Coworking space giant WeWork said on March 6 that it has inked a deal with Multicampus, a Samsung Group affiliate, to provide tailored office spaces and management consultation through its Powered by We program.

Multicampus is a human resource services firm that develops online and offline educational programs for professionals and job seekers.

The coworking firm will have six floors at its newly launched Seolleung lll location, renovated to cater to the needs of Multicampus’ employees and students.

Launched in 2018, the Powered by We program is focused on helping enterprises deliver an optimal workplace experience for employees. A team of seasoned designers and consultants from WeWork utilize their insights and skills to design, build and operate workspaces for customers, in either a WeWork location or the customer’s own or leased properties.

Powered by We has become one of WeWork’s fastest-growing businesses with more than 220 projects now up and running globally for clients, including Standard Chartered, Pinterest, Sprint and UBS.

The latest deal came after a partnership between S-1, a security solutions affiliate of Samsung, in September last year to build security solutions for coworking spaces.

“At WeWork, we’re focused on helping creators do what they love. We’re excited to create a space that supports Multicampus employees and its commitment to providing leading educational programs for professionals in Korea and beyond,” said WeWork Korea General Manager Matthew Shampine.

“We are excited to have the first Powered by We deal in Korea with Multicampus, and will continue to work closely with our partners to provide a great workplace experience for diverse local companies.”
