Korean travel platform operator Yanolja announced Monday that it is participating in the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, running through Friday, to showcase its vision for artificial intelligence-driven travel solutions.

Kim Jong-yoon, CEO of Yanolja Cloud, will speak at the panel session “Bridging Borders: Travel and Tourism’s Role in Building Trust” on Tuesday. He will present Yanolja’s Vertical AI technology and its applications in accommodation, transportation and leisure services, the company said.

Since introducing its Vertical AI technology, Yanolja has reported rapid growth, with its cumulative transaction volume reaching 19 trillion won ($13 billion) in the third quarter of 2024 -- a 2.8-fold increase from the same period the year before. The technology connects more than 1.33 million partners across 206 countries with over 17,000 sales channels, delivering personalized services while supporting efficient and sustainable operations, according to the company.

The company’s AI innovations have earned global recognition, winning Stevie and Korea Artificial Intelligence awards.

Through its Davos participation, Yanolja plans to expand its global presence and strengthen collaborations to address key industry challenges.

“We are proud to share Yanolja’s Vertical AI technology and vision at Davos,” Kim said. “We will continue driving sustainable growth and innovation as a global travel tech leader.”
