[THE INVESTOR] Korean venture capital firm KTB Network said on March 29 it has picked NH Investment & Securities and Korea Investment & Securities as the deal managers of its planned initial public offering possibly later this year.
The firm said it plans to submit the application for a preliminary review of the listing to the Korea Exchange, the main bourse operator, in August. More detailed plans, including the listing date, will be decided after that.
KTB Network, 100 percent owned by KTB Investment & Securities, is cited as one of the hottest VC IPOs this year. The firm is the largest VC in terms of investment volume. It invested a combined 128.5 billion won (US$120.40 million) in 43 companies last year. It is also operating a 300 billion won fund investing in Chinese firms only.
