[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on Aug. 27 it will showcase three new premium LG Signature home appliances at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin tech exhibition, which kicks off later this week.

The company said it will a introduce a premium wine cellar, bottom-freezer refrigerator and clothes dryer under its Signature brand.

LG said the new products will be equipped with its artificial intelligence platform, LG ThinQ, allowing users to activate the appliances via voice command.

The new wine cellar will be capable of holding 65 bottles of wine, with the bottom part capable of being used as a refrigerator or freezer.

Users can look at the contents of the wine cellar by tapping the front panel window twice.

The top-of-the-line bottom-freezer refrigerator to be unveiled at IFA can be set up so it automatically opens its door if it detects users‘ feet. This feature can be useful when people are holding things in their hands, LG said.

The LG Signature Dryer can calculate the amount of laundry so it can dry the clothes as fast as possible.
