[THE INVESTOR] Korean insurtech startup Zikto said on Sept. 17 its Insureum coin has been listed on Korean crypto exchange Coinzest following its debut on Singapore’s CoinBene last month.

Coinzest, established in June, is one of the fastest-growing exchanges. Its trading volume is 41,028.61 BTC in terms of Bitcoin -- the 10th largest -- according to market tracker Coinhills.

Insureum is a blockchain-based platform that allows insurance firms, customers and app developers to exchange health care data using the Insureum token. The coins worth 20 billion won (US$18.50 million) sold out during presales and private sale stages before its initial coin offering in May.

Since its successful ICO, Zikco has been developing new insurance products with AXA Direct Korea, an affiliate of French insurance giant AXA Group, and is expanding its partnerships with other insurers both in Korea and abroad.

“We have decided to be listed on Coinzest considering its top-level security and reliability as well as offering transactions in Korean won,” Zikto’s co-founder and CFO David Suh said. “We will continue expanding partnerships with global insurers and further elevate the coin value.”
