Cosmax to build 3rd plant in China
[THE INVESTOR] Cosmax is further tapping the Chinese market with a third manufacturing plant in the country, the company said on Jan. 5.

The South Korean cosmetics original design manufacturer first entered China with a factory in Shanghai in 2005, and set up another in Guangzhou in 2013. The new factory, located about 3 kilometers away from its first in Shanghai, is slated to be completed in mid-January and is devoted to makeup and sheet masks.
When all three plants start fully operating, Cosmax will have the capacity to manufacture 500 million products a year in China alone, further boosting its brisk business that reached 215 billion won (US$182 million) in 2015.
