Its revenue in the first quarter has slightly dipped, 0.5 percent down on-year to 706.9 billion won, but profits will remain solid as its production stabilizes, said analyst Yu Jae-hun. Operating profit is estimated to fall 9.3 percent to 73.7 billion won from a year ago.
Orders for both finished aircrafts and parts from overseas will recover in the second half and ease the concerns, emphasized the analyst.
It will benefit from its consortium with Lockheed Martin for the US training jets program that will be finalized this year, 5 trillion won exports, as well as deals with several aircraft makers to supply parts, said Yu.
