[THE INVESTOR] SPC Group, Korea’s leading food manufacturer and distributor on Nov. 1 announced that it has opened three more Paris Baguette outlets at Changi Airport in Singapore.

The first Paris Baguette outlet was opened in Terminal 2 of the airport in 2014. The three latest additions are located in the newly established Terminal 4 that opened on Oct. 31. The area spans 225,000 square meters, and can accommodate around 1,600 passengers.

“The new stores were added following the success of its first outlet,” said an SPC Group official.

Changi Airport, which services around 59 million passengers annually, houses many global food and beverage outlets. Paris Baguette first entered Singapore in 2012 and currently runs seven stores. Sales in Singapore increased 12 percent to 14.4 billion won (US$12.90 million) last year.
