[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics on Nov. 28 released a red edition of its flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone in Korea, in an apparent move to compete with Apple’s new iPhones.
The Galaxy S8 smartphone was previously available in black, gray, silver, blue and pink. The red edition will come with a storage capacity of 64GB and a price tag of 935,000 won (US$857).
The Korean tech giant first started selling the Galaxy S8 in April.
Samsung earlier said it had not yet decided whether the new version of the Galaxy S8 would be sold in overseas markets.
