[THE INVESTOR] FunctionBay, one of Korea’s leading firms in simulation software, held a special event for its global partners during the PyeongChang Winter Olympics this year.

Medium-sized tech companies are not known to be big on employee welfare, but FunctionBay bucked the trend by inviting employees from its global offices for its annual meeting at the Del Pino resort in Sokcho between Feb.21-23.

Over 80 people from countries like Japan, Germany, India, China and Italy gathered at the Del Pino Golf & Resort for FunctionBay’s annual meeting to discuss pending business issues and the economy in general -- all while taking part in the Olympic games.

At the meeting, RecurDyn’s new V9R2 version was introduced, along with multi-body dynamics for ANSYS 19. Further, FunctionBay’s overseas offices highlighted their sales for the previous year, and how FunctionBay customers were applying RecurDyn.

FunctionBay was established in 1997. Its indigenous professional multi-body dynamics simulation software RecurDyn is the world’s second-largest MBD software in terms of market share.
