Apple Korea names former Samsung exec as new head
[THE INVESTOR] Tech giant Apple named a former executive of Samsung Electronics as the new head of its Korean branch, industry sources said on April 24.
Apple Korea did not comment on the matter.
Sources said Brandon Yoon, a former marketing executive of Samsung Electronics who had worked for the Korean tech giant since 2015, recently relocated to become the general manager of Apple Korea. The information came to surface after Yoon updated his LinkedIn profile.
Yoon worked for Microsoft from 2003 to 2015.
