[THE INVESTOR] Renault Samsung Motors said on April 25 it will launch the Renault Clio supermini car in Korea next month to boost sales.
The hatchback’s prices and specifications will be released in mid-May, a company spokesman said.
In the January-March period, Renault Samsung Motors sold 64,900 vehicles, down 1.8 percent from 66,119 units a year earlier.
The company’s current lineup includes the SM3 compact, the all-electric SM3 Z.E. sedan, the QM3 subcompact SUV, and the SM5, SM6 and SM7 sedans.
It also assembles Nissan Motor’s Rogue SUV at its only plant in Busan, 450 kilometers south of Seoul, for exports.
