[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on April 30 it plans to release a new digital printer-equipped camera equipped capable of printing photos instantly or by connecting to other devices through Bluetooth wireless technology.

The Korean tech giant said the camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. Compared to other instant cameras in the market, the digital Pocket Photo Snap camera can print photos multiple times to be shared with others, it added.

Users can also take black-and-white photos by simply pressing the shutter button for five seconds, LG said. 

The printer installed on the camera also works separately by connecting to smartphones or tablet PCs running the Android operating system.

The product can be charged with USB Type C cables and can print 30 photos when fully charged.

The camera will be released in blue and pink with a price tag of 249,000 won (US$232). Official sales will start in Korea on May 14.
