Samsung Electronics said on May 31 it was named as the “Large Appliance Brand of the Year” by a British industry tracker, outpacing other European rivals.
The Korean tech giant said it received the honor from the Which Awards, hosted by British consumer group “Which?”
“Samsung was the victor in our large home appliance category, knocking Miele, winner for the past three years, off the top spot. The firm makes a huge range of home appliances,” the group said.
"During this period, an incredible 78 percent of Samsung home appliances have been rated as Best Buys and it has produced the top-scoring fridge and fridge-freezer that we’ve tested," it added.
Samsung said the Family Hub refrigerator with the model number “RB38M7998S4” and two-door refrigerator with the number “RT46K6360SL” were among the best products in the market.
“Our brand’s competitiveness has been acknowledged by one of most reputable organizations in Britain,” Samsung said, claiming it will continue its efforts to become a beloved appliances brand in the European market.
