[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics said on Sept. 6 it has introduced its latest home appliances equipped with Internet of Things features in Mexico under the slogan “Smart Living.”

The Korean tech giant said it hosted the event earlier this week in Mexico City, inviting 300 industry representatives and reporters.

Samsung displayed various premium products, including QLED TVs and its Family Hub smart refrigerator, which connects to the company’s IoT platform SmartThings.

The company, which released 49-, 55- and 65-inch TVs in the market earlier, also introduced the 75-inch QLED TV for the first time in the region, vowing to penetrate deeper into the local premium TV market.

Samsung said it will continue to promote home appliances with IoT features in Mexico down the road.
