Kia Motors on March 7 launched the upgraded Niro hybrid model to strengthen its lineup.
The facelifted Niro gasoline hybrid and plug-in hybrid models come with more safety features, including lane following assist, highway driving assist, and smart cruise control with stop and go, Kia said in a statement.
The upgraded Niro hybrid model starts at 24 million won (US$21,000) and the facelifted Niro plug-in hybrid begins at 35 million won. The prices go up depending on features.
Kia launched the Niro in 2016 and had sold an accumulated 270,000 Niro gasoline hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric models as of February.
