Madison Huang, the eldest daughter of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and the chipmaker’s senior director of product marketing for omniverse and robotics, will visit LG Electronics’ humanoid robot data factory in Seoul on Tuesday for talks on robotics cooperation, industry sources said Monday.
Madison Huang is expected to meet senior LG Electronics officials behind closed doors at the company’s research and development campus in Yangjae, southern Seoul, to discuss potential collaboration in humanoid robotics and related technologies. LG Electronics is building a data factory at the campus to train humanoid robots.
The facility is designed to replicate home and factory environments, allowing robots to accumulate movement data as they perform tasks in settings similar to those they would encounter in the real world. Given the venue, robotics is expected to dominate the talks.
The meeting comes five days after Jensen Huang and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo met at Nvidia's headquarters in California on Thursday and signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic business cooperation.
The back-to-back meetings are drawing attention in the industry as LG and Nvidia move quickly to deepen cooperation in physical artificial intelligence and robotics.
As part of the partnership, LG Electronics is developing a bipedal humanoid robot based on Nvidia's robotics platform, with an unveiling targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
The robot will be powered by Nvidia's Jetson Thor robotics computing module and use Isaac GR00T, Nvidia's foundation model for humanoid robots, as well as Halos for Robotics, its robotics safety system.
Madison Huang joined Nvidia in 2020 and has since worked on product marketing aimed at expanding the US chipmaker's physical AI ecosystem.
Her visit follows earlier talks with LG this year. In April, she met with LG Electronics CEO Lyu Jae-cheol at LG Twin Towers in Yeouido to discuss cooperation in physical AI.
She also accompanied Jensen Huang during his visit to Korea in June, when the Nvidia chief met Koo and other Korean business leaders.
