Tesla holds No.1 spot in Korea imported car market for third month

Business lobby calls for splitting EV battery ownership from vehicles

South Korea's major business lobby on Wednesday proposed allowing electric vehicle batteries to be owned separately from vehicles to lower the upfront cost burden on customers. GM Korea April sales rise 14.7% on strong SUV exports

GM Korea said Monday it sold 47,760 vehicles in April, up 14.7 percent from a year earlier, driven by strong overseas demand for its compact sport utility vehicles.
